Jack London (Michael O'Shea) is a rugged iconoclast who goes his own way as an aspiring writer. In an effort to experience life and fuel his writing, London embarks on a series of jobs that include oyster pirating and seal hunting to searching for gold in the Yukon and war reporting. His adventures become the basis for best-selling novels such as The Call of the Wild. Costars a very young Susan Hayward. Directed by Alfred Santell.
