After a family tragedy, football great Johnny Dunn (Richard Tyson) quits the game and makes a new life for himself in the small desert outpost of Jake's Corner, where the locals divide their time between the only establishments in town: the store and the bar. But when Johnny's young nephew, Spence (Colton Rodgers), comes to stay, the lad shakes up his settled life in ways he never expected. Jeff Santo directs this touching family drama.
