After executing a cold-blooded murder of a high-ranking Indonesian politician, prostitute Jamila (Atiqah Hasiholan) refuses to be represented by an attorney and serves the last days of her life sentence visited by friends (Marcellino Lafrand and Dwi Sasono). What drove Jamila to the heinous act is the crux of the story adapted by director/writer Ratna Sarumpaet from her stage play. Screen legend Christine Hakim appears as prison guard Ria.
