Meet Jane White, a deluded young woman who lives with her highly disturbed mother and sedates herself with television. Tricking herself into believing that outrageous talk show host Gerry is her long-lost dad, Jane transforms herself into characters like the ones his program in an attempt to get on the air. During her odyssey, she meets plenty of weirdos, freaks, aliens and even a prospective boyfriend...who might be a serial killer.
