Jelly Woods (Sarah Louise Wilson, who also penned the screenplay) is convinced her romantic life will end just like a John Hughes movie. So when her boyfriend (Jason Alan Smith) breaks her heart, it shatters her dreamily distorted worldview. Her loyal friends, Floyd (John Boyd) and Mona (Natasha Lyonne), are there for her. But when Jelly turns her back on them, it stirs unexpected feelings all around. Ed McMahon co-stars in his final film role.
