Tom (Tim Matheson) seems to run through girlfriends like Kleenex, discarding one every few months. And that's a problem for his young son, Joshua (Matthew Lawrence). But the problem looms much larger when Joshua hits it off with his father's latest cast-off, a woman named Claudia (Melissa Gilbert) who has a lot of love to give. It all leads to one question: Who would make a better parent, Joshua's father or Claudia? Michael Pressman directs.
