Equally rich in visual presentation and violence, this unusual look at British punk rock culture takes a jaunt through time, following the transportation of Queen Elizabeth and her court magician from 1578 to a future that's a violent wasteland. Musical performances by Siouxsie and the Banshees, Adam Ant and Brian Eno are infused throughout this film from experimental director Derek Jarman (Glitterbug).
