When a convertible breaks down near their farm, married couple Juha (Sakari Kuosmanen) and Marja (Kati Outinen) agree to help the car's owner -- a flashy urbanite named Shemeikka (Andre Wilms) -- get back on track. But Shemeikka develops a different agenda: seduction. With her uncommunicative husband focused on fixing Shemeikka's vehicle, Marja is left alone to be easily wooed by the man, who promises her a wonderful life if she leaves Juha.
