Ace ticket scalper Gary Starke (Andy Garcia) can get his hands on almost anything: floor-level seats for New York Knicks' games, admission to exclusive art openings, front-row concert passes. But his skill earns him no points from lovely Linda (Andie MacDowell), who dumps Gary for a culinary scholarship in Paris. If he can make one last score scalping tickets for the Pope's Mass in Yankee Stadium, Gary can go legitimate and win Linda back.
