James Belushi stars as maverick vice cop Thomas Dooley, who's been fervently pursuing an elusive drug dealer (Kevin Tighe) for two years. After Dooley's car gets blown to bits during a stakeout, he requests a new vehicle and instead finds himself paired with a new partner: a feisty German shepherd named Jerry Lee. Can the dogged duo collar the cocaine kingpin? Mel Harris and Ed O'Neill costar in this charming comedy.
