Shamu (Kader Khan) is hurt on the job and his employer, Shahani Seth (Amjad Khan), refuses to pay up. Shamu's outraged younger brother, Kallu (Amitabh Bachchan), is caught breaking into Shahani's house and sent to prison. While behind bars, Kallu develops a powerful new identity, Kaalia. Kaalia's violent fellow convicts teach him many useful skills, all of which he plans to use against Shahani Seth when he's finally released.
