When wealthy but humble Kalyanaram (Kamal Hassan) falls prey to a vicious killer who is after his money, his brother (also played by Kamal Hassan) takes matters into his own hands and sets out to get revenge. Along the way, he falls in love with the beautiful woman (Sridevi) his brother once fancied. G.N. Rangarajan directs this thrilling drama that co-stars Ramaswamy V.K. Illaiyaraja is the music director.
