When Confederate sympathizers mount daring raids to halt construction on the Kansas Pacific Railway as it winds steadily across the continent, U.S. Army Capt. John Nelson (Sterling Hayden) is posted to the territory to thwart the saboteurs. But soon, Nelson finds himself confronting even more full-scale attacks -- as well as a romantic entanglement with frontier beauty Barbara Bruce (Eve Miller). Ray Nazarro directs this superior budget Western.
