Jean-Luc Godard stars as a hapless cinematographer known as both the Prince and the Idiot in this quirky satire, which he also wrote and directed. Working frantically to finish his film and secure his funding, he experiences a series of setbacks. With 24 hours until his deadline, he insults his actress in an effort to speed her up, is thwarted by a pop music recording session, and drops the film canisters while racing to a screening.
