After suffering years of ridicule and torture at the hands of an assortment of school bullies, Kenichi Shirahama receives a stroke of incredibly good fortune when beautiful martial arts prodigy Miu Furinji walks into his life. With the help of Miu's family -- the owners of the Ryozanpaku dojo -- Kenichi is mentored by a group of karate masters, and soon he's endowed with the skills to take on his school's most infamous gangs.
