Recovering from severe romantic disappointment, a disheveled man (Sanjeev Kapoor) is nursed back to health by the caring prostitute (Mumtaz) hired to heal him. In the process, their relationship blossoms into love. Laxmikant Pyarelal scored a critically acclaimed soundtrack to this commercially successful Bollywood drama, featuring the hits "Khilona Jaan Kar Tum," "Agar Dilbar Ki Ruswai" and "Khush Rahe Tu Sada."
