The luck of Brooklyn nebbish Eddie Wilson Jr. (Eddie Cantor) changes drastically when he learns that his archaeologist father has left him a fortune -- in Egypt. But Eddie soon finds out the hard way that several schemers are out to claim his $77 million inheritance. This entertaining musical confection co-stars Ethel Merman, Ann Sothern and George Murphy (in his film debut); watch for a blond Lucille Ball in the harem scenes.
