Possessing a misshapen mug, Paul "Monk" Baroni (Leonard Nimoy) is a street punk who becomes a pro boxer with the help of his mentor, Father Callahan (Richard Rober), and manager, Hellman (Bruce Cabot). When success comes calling, Monk buys himself a dose of plastic surgery, only to find that a fast fist and pretty face aren't keys to true happiness. Allene Roberts co-stars in Harold D. Schuster's tale of dashed dreams and redemption.
