Produced by five-time Oscar winner Francis Ford Coppola, this classic adventure tale is based on the writings of Robert Louis Stevenson and tells the tale of a young Scot named David (Brian McCardie), who's cheated out of his inheritance and sold into slavery. Forced to live under the thumb of an evil captain, David gradually loses hope for freedom until a heroic Scottish soldier named Alan Breck Stewart (Armand Assante) comes to his aid.
