Martial artist Doshin So (Sonny Chiba) finds the life he left during World War II, when he was recruited to work as a special agent to spy on the enemy, completely upended: His family's extensive land holdings have been co-opted, and the village in which he lives is overrun by criminals. Plus, a group of teens who lost their parents have no place to go and no means to forge a better life. Doshin decides it's time to fight back and regain control.
