Rudyard Kipling's novel set in colonial India comes to life as director John Howard Davies follows the exploits of streetwise orphan turned spy Kim (Ravi Sheth), who learns he's the offspring of an English soldier. When British agent Mahbub Ali (Bryan Brown) drafts Kim as an operative, he has to use all of his wits to thwart a plot aimed at toppling the British regime. Peter O'Toole plays a Buddhist holy man who leads Kim on a spiritual journey.
