At the behest of his wealthy benefactress, evil Dr. Who (Eisei Amamoto) builds a robotic King Kong to retrieve a rare radioactive element. But when the simian machine falters, there's only one alternative: the real King Kong. Luckily, the big galoot has a trio of pals in high places -- Cmdr. Carl Nelson (Rhodes Reason), Lt. Cmdr. Jiro Nomura (Akira Takarada) and fetching Lt. Susan Watson (Linda Miller) -- who try to subvert the doctor's orders.
