King Kong

Eager to exploit potential petroleum reserves on a Pacific isle, oil tycoon Fred Wilson (Charles Grodin) assembles a crew and sets sail, rescuing a stranded starlet (Jessica Lange) en route. On the island, they discover King Kong -- a big ape who takes a shine to the budding star. Sensing a chance to make a bundle, Wilson ships the gorilla to New York City, where Kong escapes and rains mayhem on Gotham before seeking refuge atop the twin towers.
