Thirty years after leaving Connemara to pursue fame and fortune in London, five Irishmen reunite for the funeral of their friend Jackie, who was run over by a train -- possibly by accident, possibly by suicide. Old wounds resurface among drunken transients Jap (Donal O'Kelly) and Git (Brendan Conroy), depressed Máirtín (Barry Barnes), grocer Shay (Donncha Crowley) and construction magnate Joe (Colm Meaney), as they drown their sorrows at a pub.
