Writer, lyricist and director Gulzar provides a varied selection of short films -- with subjects ranging from a mother agonizing over her daughter's love life to a police snitch who inadvertently snitches on himself -- for this television series. Other stories involve a romance that transcends social status, a parent waiting for a ghostly message from a departed son and an aging actress whose life is changed by a surprise visitor.
