Overcoming differences -- in geography, culture, religion and more -- is the unifying theme in this collection of short films from writer, lyricist and director Gulzar for the television show "Kidaar." In the stories included here, two families from a divided Bengal meet to learn of their roots; riot victims with divergent religious beliefs find common shelter in a dustbin; a grandchild mends the rift between previous generations and more.
