John Malkovich stars as iconic Austrian artist Gustav Klimt, perhaps best known for his painting of The Kiss, in this dreamy biopic written and directed by Raoul Ruiz. Told in a series of visions from the artist's deathbed, the story veers back and forth between past and present, fantasy and reality, chronicling his battles for artistic freedom and his passions for various women. Veronica Ferres and Saffron Burrows co-star.
