Bollywood's take on divorce and pushy mothers-in-law is, of course, filled with singing, dancing and moments of melodrama. While a professor and his well-educated wife should know better than to let a mother's snobbery ruin their happiness, they still separate. Will a bitter woman's flawed values permanently infect her kin and ruin a perfectly good match, or is there still a chance for reconciliation?
