When Dr. Vijay Verma (Jackie Shroff) rescues a man from a brutal beating, he incurs the wrath of a powerful bully (Om Shivpuri). Verma soon lands in jail, framed for murder. Meanwhile, his wife, Aarti (Radhika), also faces severe repercussions. Leaving prison years later, Verma discovers his child has died and Aarti is now the mistress of a member of Parliament. When she refuses to acknowledge him, Verma goes on a quest to discover the truth.
