Five bank robbers decide that the real money is to be found in kidnapping celebrities and holding them for ransom. Unfortunately for the hapless crooks, their high-profile targets may prove to have keener criminal minds than they do. But despite their bad luck, they manage to hang on, with a little help from their fans in the government. Numerous French celebs appear as victims in this hilarious farce from legendary filmmaker Claude Lelouch.
