In this silent comic short, a mimed film based on Thomas Mann's novella The Transposed Heads, a man shops for a new head hoping to improve his looks and attract women. He tries several heads but to no avail. Ironically, it is his own that woos the shopkeeper, who's placed it on the mantle of her fireplace. Chilean avant-garde director Alejandro Jodorowsky's surreal first film stars Jean-Marie Proslier, Raymond Devos and Marthe Mercure.
