A hooker learns a shocking secret in this bittersweet Mexican melodrama. After her father dies and she discovers her lover's indiscretions, down-and-out Rosario (Andrea Palma) resorts to prostitution. Working the docks is tough, and when a drunkard attacks Rosario, sailor Alberto Venegas (Domingo Soler) saves her. She takes Alberto home for an erotic encounter but finds their future together in jeopardy when a startling revelation comes to light.
