Vera (Aitana Sánchez-Gijón), a writer suffering from breast cancer, discovers love letters and photos of an Argentinean man who died in the Spanish Civil War. Intrigued, she travels to Argentine Patagonia to research the story behind the photos taken in a local brothel. In her search, Vera rediscovers herself and reconnects with old and hidden emotions. Leonardo Sbaraglia and Mercè Llorens also star in this lyrical drama directed by Luis Puenzo.
