Sahuaro (Eduardo Santamarina), a young man who would grow up to become a legendary drug dealer in Sonora, Mexico, leaves home with his uncle (Jesus Ochoa) while his brother (Marco Perez) stays behind to be reared by his mother. As adults, Sahuaro becomes a drug kingpin while his brother attains respectability as a prominent businessman. But in a small border town, the brothers square off in a fight over drugs and money.
