Lal Singh has lived his entire life with his mother (Nirupa Roy) and several disadvantaged others in a tiny Bombay basti. Lal's reputation as a warm, giving soul who has a fierce opposition to crime of any kind is about to change when he gets tangled up in a web of lost treasure, murder and deceit. At the heart of Lal's problem is his bitter enemy Vikram Singh, or Vicky Baadshah (Raghuvaran), who rules the city.
