In 1982, filmmaker Alan Greenberg traveled to Jamaica to document reggae legend Bob Marley's funeral. What he produced instead was a remarkable and penetrating look into the strange beauty of Jamaica and the soul of its people. From Rastafarianism to indigenous toads, musicians, writers and street preachers, no corner of Jamaican life is left unexamined. The film features music from Bob Marley and the Wailers.
