When fresh-from-prison "Pressure" Maxwell's (Edward G. Robinson) plans to walk the straight and narrow are thwarted, he and a pal buy a luggage store in order to tunnel into a neighboring bank. But as the luggage business unexpectedly proves wildly profitable, they abandon their bank-robbing plot -- only to discover that some other crooks have become invested in their scheme. Lloyd Bacon directs this comedy that also stars Broderick Crawford.
