A man is prevented from being with the woman he loves in this award-winning romantic drama based on Edgardo M. Reyes's acclaimed novel. Recognizing that his infatuation with his stepmother, Carmen (Angel Aquino), is taboo, young Ding (Carlos Morales) focuses on Carmen's daughter, Dee (Ara Mina), instead. But as Ding and Dee grow into adulthood and realize they love each other, Carmen and others work to keep the star-crossed lovers apart.
