Laughing at Life

Fleeing the law, civil engineer Dennis McHale (Victor McLaglen) leaves his family in England and heads for South America, where he reinvents himself as the mercenary Captain Easter and is hired to lead a revolution in this classic adventure film. McHale is amazed to meet his son (Regis Toomy), trying to emulate his father's life of adventure, but soon learns that that the revolutionaries plan to kill him once they have assumed power.
