Famous and wealthy novelist Laura Lansing (Katharine Hepburn) accepts a bet that she can survive living among ordinary folks for one week in this made-for-TV movie. Laura leaves her tawny Manhattan penthouse, heads to the suburbs and moves in with a middle-class family -- and it's not long before the high-powered author is trying to control the lives of her hosts. Joel Higgins, Karen Austin and Hepburn's grand-niece Schuyler Grant co-star.
