Working-class Milwaukee roommates Laverne De Fazio (Penny Marshall) and Shirley Feeney (Cindy Williams) concoct more crazy schemes as they keep trying to improve their lives in the third season of the popular 1970s sitcom. Some of their adventures include going on a cruise, attempting to meet singer Fabian when he's in town for a concert, and sheltering a horse in their apartment after Shirley rescues it from a glue factory.
