Concentration camp survivor and human rights activist Bacha (Alida Valli) is consumed with jealousy when her protégé, Claude (Guillemette Grobon), becomes an object of desire for fashion designer Manuela (Marie-Christine Barrault), Bacha's much younger friend and lover. Manuela, meanwhile, attempts to reconcile her deep love for Bacha with her attraction for the lovely Claude in this lesbian drama from first-time helmer Geneviève Lefebvre.
