A romance blooms between stranded motorist Helen (Susan Penhaligon) and reclusive former race car driver Dominic (Keir Dullea) after he offers her shelter from a blizzard. But with Dominic hiding secrets from his past, the fledgling relationship may never fully take flight. Emotionally scarred and intent on maintaining his privacy, Dominic continues to build walls around himself, even if it means sacrificing his newfound connection with Helen.
