During World War II, the French government sets up a camp for refugees from the Nazis, including Jews from several countries, political activists, artists and others. But when Germany invades France, the camp becomes a political hot potato. Now Commandant Charles Perochon (Jean-Pierre Marielle) must fight to protect the refugees, battling his superiors in an effort to save them. Based on true events, this drama co-stars Kristin Scott Thomas.
