Ruth White shines in this filmed stage adaptation of Paul Zindel's play, staring as Helen, a modest cleaning woman who strikes up a unique and inspiring friendship with a dolphin housed in the scientific research lab where she works. Produced and directed by Glenn Jordan, the film features the work of celebrated puppeteer Bil Baird and an original score by jazz greats the Modern Jazz Quartet.
