This entertaining and provocative film documents the fear, ignorance, lies and hypocritical rhetoric characterizing the post-9/11 national scene and the controversial federal legislation that restricts civil liberties in the name of homeland security. Filmmaker Christine Rose embraces every controversy, using original and archival footage and interviews with leading activists, questioning if the land of the free is slowly becoming a police state.
