In season two of this popular British drama series, police detective Sam Tyler (John Simm) continues to be caught in a wrinkle in time -- 1973, to be precise -- after being knocked out by a hit-and-run driver in 2006. Although he's still a detective, nearly everything else about life in the 1970s is a far cry from what it was in the future, and Sam finds himself dealing with a whole new (or old) set of problems, including an IRA bombing campaign.
