Ever the irrepressible imp, Mickey Rooney plays Barney Ingram, a luckless gambler with one true asset -- a priceless champion racehorse. Barney's luck really runs out, however, when his white stallion is stolen by a thug who wants the valuable horse all for himself. But with the help of two young friends, Barney just might be able to get the upper hand and outwit the horse thief.
