Research assistant Jane (Elisabeth Shue) goes to work at the home of chimp specialist Dr. Steven Phillip (Terence Stamp). Along with three chimps, Jane meets Link, a delightful 45-year-old orangutan butler. But when the doctor vanishes, the primates become increasingly aggressive. Knowing Phillip wanted to euthanize Link, Jane begins to think the increasingly violent butler had something to do with his disappearance.
