The lion is king in this four-part collection that captures on film the beasts in their element in Africa and India, studying the history and habits of a majestic animal that is both respected and feared. Highlights include the true story of wildlife conservationist George Adamson, footage of lions interacting with hyenas on the Serengeti and a segment in which James Earl Jones discusses the lions of Etosha National Park in Namibia.
